Alfredo Kägi is a sustainable development expert with a broad range of academic and professional experience. In the academic field he has designed and managed scientific research projects in the fields of disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, environmental engineering and conservation. He holds over 10 years of experience working in project management and design for the public sector and NGO’s in the fields of productive infrastructure, sustainable tourism development, telecommunications, technologies for development, microfinances, and strategic territorial planning, among others. He is currently a Research Fellow for disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation and project coordinator at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne.
